What is Home Assistant?
Home Assistant is a free, open-source smart home platform. It brings lights, sensors, heating, blinds, cameras and plugs from different manufacturers onto one shared interface — instead of one app per device.
Data is processed locally, and automations keep running even without internet. This is the foundation I use for Greenhub, the heart of your home.
The platform is powerful, but not everyone wants to install, update and secure it themselves. I take care of that: from the first consultation to ongoing remote management.
Who is it for?
Apartment or house, tech fan or beginner: no prior knowledge needed. A few typical situations:
Lighting, heating, blinds and security that adapt to daily life — without anyone having to do anything.
Stick-on and plug-in devices, no structural changes. They move with you when you move.
Control heating, shading, irrigation and access centrally and save energy.

No. Processing runs locally on the Greenhub hub. Notifications are optional and may go through external services such as Apple or Google. With Konihaus you pay the monthly care fee, not manufacturer subscriptions.
In most cases, yes. I use what you already own and add proven hardware only where it makes sense. Which models work, we clarify together in the consultation.
